This cricketer declared retirement in 85 years, has taken 7000 wickets !!!

Cricketers usually retire by saying goodbye to cricket between the ages of 35 and 40. In the case of rare cases, some cricketers continue to play first class cricket for 45 years.

However, West Indies fast bowler Cecil Wright has announced his retirement from playing cricket at the age of 85. Wright said, "I will retire in the next two weeks."

Cecil Wright has played for Jamaica a series against legendary cricketers such as Gary Sobers and Wesley Hall .This encounter took place in 1958 .He left for England in 1965, where he played for the Central Lancashire League as a Crompton teammate and as a professional cricketer. Then he decided to emigrate to England.

The fast bowler, Wright, has taken more than 7,000 wickets in his 60-year cricket career.

Wright credits his fitness with traditional Lancashire food, saying, to be honest, I don't drink too much. Sometimes I enjoy beer. Keeping yourself active gives relief from any kind of pain. I do not like to watch TV. I am walking instead of watching TV. Wright will play his last match on September 7.
