Delhi High Court judge Sunil Gaud, who rejected the bail plea of former finance minister P Chidambaram in connection with INX Media, is set to retire on Friday.
Sunil Goud rejected the bail plea saying that P Chidambaram was at the primary stage of being the main conspirator in the case.
Gaud started his career with the Punjab and Haryana High Court. He has served as a judge in the Delhi High Court since 2008.
Sunil Gaud has also heard another high profile case .In addition to the Rs 300 crore scam, he also rejected the interim bail application of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath's nephew Ratul Puri.
