Congress has opposed the government after the SPG security of former PM Manmohan Singh was withdrawn. The Congress has even indirectly threatened that Modi Shah will remember that one day he will be ex.

However, in the midst of this controversy, the reality is that an army of 3,000 security personnel is deployed to protect only four VVIPs in the country.

According to the government's decision, the four VVIPs that have to receive SPG cover (Special Protection Group Security) include Narendra Modi, Congress president Sonia Gandhi and his children Rahul and Priyanka. They have 3,000 security personnel deployed.

SPGs are equipped with all kinds of modern security equipment. Security personnel are being tracked from various armed forces in India. They also arrive at the VVIP site where they are scheduled to visit for 24 hours before handling the security situation. The SPG also includes a bomb disposal squad, snipers.

Apart from night vision goggles, sophisticated Far Arms, bulletproof jackets, SPG is equipped with bulletproof BMW and Range Rovers.
