The canal, built at a cost of Rs 2200 crore in 42 years, washed away within 24 hours of inauguration

Ranchi, Ta. 31. Saturday, August 2019

Jharkhand has seen a fiery example of the extent to which taxpayers 'money is wasted in India in the wake of bureaucrats, corruption and alliances with politicians' contractors.

A canal was planned 42 years ago in Hazari Bagh. At that time, the cost of constructing the canal was estimated at Rs 12 crore. After 42 years, the cost behind it reached Rs 2176 crore.

The shocking thing is now. Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das inaugurated it on Wednesday after becoming a canal. In 24 hours, the canal has been washed away. The quality of the canal's operation will be low or it can be erased within 24 hours.

After the overwhelming victory of the government, a three-member panel has now been ordered to investigate and report immediately. Opposition has targeted the BJP government. Only praise was sung.

The fields of about 35 villages have been destroyed due to the canal collapse. The irrigation department is blaming the rats provided for the collapse of the canal.

Jharkhand's Chief Minister Raghubardas started the project in 2014. Many claim that only 44 per cent of the work was done, but it was completed in a hurry to inaugurate the project.
