New delhi date. August 2, 2019, Friday

The Supreme Court made important points on the road accident of Unnao gang-rape victim. The Supreme Court has ruled that a road accident case will be launched in Delhi. On the second day, the Supreme Court has recently stopped the transfer of the case to Delhi court.

The Supreme Court transferred all cases of Unnao gang-rape victim to Delhi. It has now begun to consider whether to transfer the accident case at present. This means that while the road accident case is under investigation, the transfer of his case to Delhi court has been stopped.

Another important point was that the apex court had directed that the victim's uncle be transferred to Tihar jail for security reasons. The victim's uncle is lodged in Raebareli jail in UP in connection with a case. The victim's aunt died in an accident on the way. The court argued on behalf of the Uttar Pradesh government that the victim's uncle was safe in Raebareli's jail. But the Supreme Court did not uphold the government's argument.

The victim was seriously injured in the road accident. He was sought for treatment in Delhi. But the family decided to treat the victim in Lucknow. In the Supreme Court, the victim's lawyers submitted that the family wanted their treatment in Lucknow.

In that regard, the court said that the family could decide where to treat the victim. If the family wishes, they can seek treatment in Delhi. The Supreme Court learned of the victim's treatment and also received a medical report. The victim was in critical condition in the ICU, the court said.
