Sikh community lured against 'Sacred Games', police complaint against Anurag Kashyap

New delhi date. 21. Wednesday August 2019

The second part of the web series Secret Games, directed by Anurag Kashyap, has been released.

However, the series has become controversial due to the religious sentiments of the Sikhs. In one of the Sacred Games scenes, Saif Ali Khan, who plays the role of Sikh Inspector, throws a saddle on his hand and throws it into the sea.

Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Committee Chairman and Shiromani Akali Dal MLA Manjinder Singh Sirsa has written to Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar demanding that the series be banned.

Sirsa, in a conversation with a channel, said that the Kadu is one of the five sacred symbols of the Sikh community which is believed to be on the body. Even if a Sikh survives, the saddle does not lift it from the hand. However, in the Sacred Games, there is a scene of unloading bitter and throwing it into the sea. Bitter was found not by greed and greed but by sacrificing.

Sirsa had said that it has offensive words against Hinduism too. Religious sentiment has been done maliciously, Hindu religious symbols have been insulted. It seems that such scenes have been filmed deliberately to create controversy. This leads to controversy and publicity. These people can go to any extent for money.

Sirsa said, "We want Netflix to show that you have been wrongly punished. We will not tolerate those who attack our religion and will launch nationwide agitation on this issue."

The Delhi BJP leader Tejinder Bagga has also filed a police complaint against Anurag Kashyap on this issue.
