Life in Kashmir is slowly declining

In Jammu and Kashmir, there were indications that life was on the decline. The Tourism Department has re-opened the air ticket center so that tourists will return to Kashmir.

The central government is taking various steps to resolve the situation in Kashmir. However, services like Internet and Telephone have not started yet. But the government is taking many other steps to reduce the problems of local citizens.

On Tuesday, the administration announced that shops and markets could open in areas where sanctions have been lifted or relaxed. Provisions are also being made to resume public transport service in the Kashmir Valley.

"We are arranging that the telephone exchanges work again gradually in all areas," Sehri Asgar, Secretary, Information and Broadcasting Department of Jammu and Kashmir told reporters.
