The 144th clause was implemented in Rajasthan's capital Jaipur on Monday night, triggering communal tensions and violent incidents. A total of 24 people, including nine policemen, were injured in the violent incidents.
According to the police, the incident took place on Monday night from 14th Monday night at Galata Gate, Ramganj, Subhash Chowk, Manik Chowk, Brahmapuri, Kotwali, Sanjay Circle, Nahargarh, Shastrinagar, Bhatta Basti, Adarsh Nagar, Moti Dungari, Lal Kothi, Transport Nagar and Jawahar Nagar.
Internet service was also shut down on Wednesday night in more than ten areas. According to the information provided by the police, the collision broke out when one of the comm people was jamming the Delhi highway near Galta Gate.
Meanwhile, passengers of the bus were injured when someone was throwing stones at a bus coming from Haridwar. Meanwhile, rumors spread that people from both comms came face to face and attacked each other. More than half a dozen cars were smashed.
