Due to heavy rains in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Mumbai, the revenue of vegetables coming to Ahmedabad has dropped drastically. Apart from this, the production of vegetables in the rainy season has decreased in South and Central Gujarat, which has increased the demand for vegetables. For this reason, the price of vegetables has increased by 2 to 5 percent.

Gujarat has recorded 6 rains so far. Due to heavy rains, relief from drinking water and irrigation water has also reduced the income of the vegetables. The trucks coming from Maharashtra are also trapped in rainwater. Due to such an incident, traders have stopped vegetable fracking. Trucks carrying vegetables have been reduced at Jamalpur Shakmarket in Ahmedabad city. Due to heavy rainfall in the upstream vegetable income has decreased by up to 5%. Demand for vegetables has been declining.

Vegetable crops have been washed away due to rain water in central and southern Gujarat in Gujarat. This has affected the production of vegetables. Usually the price of vegetables found at Rs 3-5 kg ​​has now reached Rs 5-8. Thus, the budget of housewives is also lost due to rising vegetable prices.
