Government offices will open in Jammu and Kashmir today, closed for the last eight to nine days

Jammu and Kashmir's government offices, which have been closed for the last ten days, will be warming again today. However, the amount of concession in the 144th clause will be decided after the Jumma prayer.

Friday the 9th of August, Jumma's prayer ended peacefully. Depending on how the situation is today, more concessions will be decided.

Jammu and Kashmir Chief Secretary Rohit Kansal said that Independence Day was celebrated peacefully in the Kashmir Valley. Nothing unexpected happened. He said that night flights to Srinagar would also be resumed. Srinagar is already an international airport for night service.

Governor Satyapal Malik said that due to armed security, the mischief elements had cooled down and Independence Day was celebrated peacefully in Budgam, Pulwama, Avantipora, Tral, Ganderbal, Baramulla, Shopian, Kulgam, Anantnag and Bandipora.
