New Delhi, Aug 22, 2019, Thursday

PM Modi is on his way to France once again, France has set off for India to sell 36 more Rafale aircraft.

An English newspaper reports that France may make the proposal during PM Modi's visit. PM Modi is to attend the G-7 summit in France.

India has already dealt with France for 36 Rafale aircraft. Delivery of these aircraft will begin to meet India from next month. Indian pilots have taken close training in France to operate the Rafale aircraft.

Under these circumstances, if India accepts the proposal to buy another 36 Rafale aircraft, then it can be obtained at a lower price than the previous 36 aircraft.

Now, if India buys another 36 aircraft, India already has the infrastructure, training tools to make changes to the aircraft. This will reduce the cost of the aircraft. India's 36 aircraft are estimated to cost Rs 474 billion. The Dassault company will have to work very quickly to deliver the Rafale aircraft.

While the Indian Air Force is battling a shortage of sophisticated aircraft, it is possible that India will consider this deal.
