Sri Lanka opens a new map for Chinese investment destinations, including Colombo Port, with a $ 1.4 billion investment. The map includes all the places where China has a huge investment, Sri Lankan media reported.

The Sri Lankan 50,000 series of maps was completed in 1995, but it was re-launched with additional improvements, the Surveyor General of Sri Lanka said. Significant changes to the new map included Colombo Port City, Hambantota Port in the south, the Highway and Moragacandha in the central province.

Sri Lanka's survey department has released a new map with China's massive investment today, which includes all the places where China has invested, an official said. We completed a new map in March that is now available to the public.

The new series covers all the changes that have taken place in the country in the last fifteen years. Specifically, an official in Colombo Port City and New Humbantota Harbor said. From now onwards, the survey section will update the map every two years. Photo taken from the satellite as well as on-ground survey method were used to create the new map.
