New history created in Gujarat Legislative Assembly: House work started at 10 am

Today was the last day in the Gujarat Legislative Assembly in which the proceedings of the Legislative Assembly, which started at 10 am, were discussed at night even after 12 o'clock. There was a long assembly that started at 12 noon and lasted until 12:08 pm which was a record.

But today, 26/7/2019, at 10 o'clock in the morning, the proceedings of the Legislative Assembly began. Even though it was still 14 hours before the record was broken, the Speaker thanked the people present for the historic record, including the legislative government officials, media reporters.

The Gujarat Legislative Assembly today will be writing a golden letter in history as they have created a new history. Yesterday was the last day of legislative budget action. Legislative house was opened from 10am till last morning, which lasted till 3.40pm.

Earlier, the work of the Gujarat Legislative Assembly was continued till 12.08 pm on that day the house was started at 12 o'clock which continued till late at night but for the first time, the work of the house was continued at 10:00 pm and ended at 3.40 pm.

On the last day, a total of nine different government bills were placed in the house, which was discussed till late at night and all the amendments were passed by the government in opposition to the Congress.

There was a heated debate over Gujarat Irrigation and Water Disposal System Reform Bill and Gujarat Home-Water Supply Bill. Apart from the senior Congress leader, other MLAs also strongly criticized the BJP government's policy.

Chairman Rajendra Trivedi also welcomed the Congress and all BJP MLAs and said that today is the last day that any member should present his words peacefully. He also said that everyone in the history of Gujarat Assembly will remember this day.

Earlier, around 9:30 pm, legislators and ministers had arranged a dinner at the assembly lodge with dishes such as potato vegetables, bag of chillies and rosemary, after which the house was reopened.

On the other hand, no one knew when the house would be completed as there was no specific time for speaking on the government bill. But since he takes time based on his intelligence in which even the chairperson himself does not make a head start, the chair has recessed twice by three o'clock in the morning after dinner. One was given 30 minutes and another 15 minutes.

Chairman Rajendra Trivedi also thanked all the present MLAs, including the media reporter, for presenting such historical record in the Gujarat Legislative Assembly. Then after 4pm, the MLAs and ministers left for their homes.
