Scorching heat in the country, heatwave warning

New Delhi: Due to El Nino conditions in India this year, severe heat, heatwaves and monsoons are predicted from March to May. Director General of the Meteorological Department, Mrityunjay Mohapatra, has said that the maximum and minimum temperatures in India during March to May are likely to be above normal. The number of heatwaves may also be high during this time. However, now the weather has turned in North India and rain is likely for the next three-four days.
