For 'Developed India', PM Modi gave BJP Rs. 2,000 donation

After the formation of the new government in May 2024, the 100-day agenda and the vision document of a developed India were discussed.

New Delhi: The last cabinet meeting of the NDA government under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi was held on Sunday. In this meeting, PM Modi discussed the government's 10-year successes and future priorities. PM Modi directed the ministers in today's meeting to work on the 100-day agenda to start work immediately after the formation of the new government in May 2024. On the other hand, before the Lok Sabha elections on Sunday, PM Modi gave BJP Rs. 2,000 and requested the countrymen to donate to BJP for 'Viksit Bharat' through Namo app.

Probably for the first time in the country's history, a government discussed the agenda of the next government in detail in the final meeting of the cabinet of the current government even before the program of the Lok Sabha elections was announced.

In this meeting, PM Modi warned the ministers and said to be careful in whatever statements you make, speak with understanding. Nowadays there is a currency of deepfake, which attempts to change the voice. Beware of it. Whatever is to be said, speak on the plans, avoid controversial statements.

This marathon meeting held under the chairmanship of PM Modi lasted for eight hours, in which not only the vision of making India a developed country by the year 2047 was discussed, but also the agenda of work to be done in the first 100 days after the formation of the new government in May 2024 was discussed seriously.

Lok Sabha elections are likely to be announced next week. Sources say that elections can be held in seven to eight phases from April to May 2024. At such a time, the current Modi government called the final meeting of the cabinet. Sources said, preparation for the roadmap of developed India was going on for two years. During this time, a vision document has been prepared after discussion with the state governments, academicians, industry representatives, scientists, civil society people under the leadership of all the ministries. More than 2700 meetings, workshops and seminars were organized for it. The government received suggestions from more than 20 lakh youth.

On the other hand, before the Lok Sabha elections on Sunday, Prime Minister Modi gave the BJP a party fund of Rs. 2,000 and urged all citizens to be a part of BJP's 'Donation for Nation Building' campaign through the Namo app. He added that donations to political parties are exempt from taxation under Section 80 GGB for companies under the Income Tax Act, 1961 and Section 80 GGC for others.
