As people are being persecuted in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, the leader of Greece comes to India's support

Athens, dt. 24 March 2024

The poison that India is committing atrocities in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir continues to spread, but now as the details of the atrocities being committed on people in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir are coming to the fore globally, the real nature of Pakistan is being exposed to the world.

The leader of the European country Greece, Konstantinos Bogdanoz, mentioned Cyprus under the occupation of Turkey in the office of the UN in Geneva, and while comparing it with Kashmir under the occupation of Pakistan, he said that Pakistan needs to see its own face in the mirror before defaming others. People in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir as well as Gilgit and Baltistan have been persecuted.

He further said that no country in today's world can take the risk of depriving its people of the right to basic freedom and when I talk about Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, I think of Turkish-occupied Cyprus. India and Greece stand shoulder to shoulder against aggression and atrocities. I appeal to the Government of Pakistan to reconsider its policy in Kashmir as well as in Gilgit and Baltistan from the perspective of international law, democracy and equality.

One of the reasons behind the report presented to the UN by Konstantinos Bogdanoz is that Turkey has staked its claim on the whole of Cyprus. Turkish President Erdogan recently said that if the Turkish army had occupied the whole of Cyprus in 1974, there would not have been a problem called Cyprus today.

On the other hand, Greece, which has defended Cyprus, has opposed this statement of Turkey.
