Israel Gaza war Updates | The citizens of Gaza are paying the price for the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas. Relief packages are being sent to help them. But even the relief packages raining from the sky have become a disaster for them. A major disaster occurred when the parachutes of some packages rained down on Gaza by airdrop did not open. This relief package fell directly from the sky on the people standing in the queue. Due to which five people died and many were injured. The incident took place in a refugee camp in northern Gaza.

Gaza's government media office confirmed

The Gaza government media office confirmed the death toll and called off plans to deliver aid via airdrops. He said that delivering aid through these airdrops is just propaganda, not humanitarian service. Along with this, an appeal was made to deliver food and other materials to the helpless people through the land border. A statement issued by the media office said that we had already warned that this would endanger the lives of civilians in the Gaza Strip and that is what happened.

America did not send this relief package

Some reports have claimed that airdrops of these relief packages that claimed civilian lives were sent by the US. But America has denied this. "Our condolences go out to the families of the civilians who lost their lives due to the airdrop," a post from the US Central Command said. But the claims made in some reports about this are false. This relief package was not airdropped by America.

The crisis of hunger became serious

The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs said last month that 1 in 4 people in Gaza faced starvation. The United Nations in Gaza says that since January 23, Israeli authorities have blocked the delivery of supplies to the northern part of the Gaza Strip. The World Food Program (WFP) recently said the first convoy it sent to northern Gaza was returned by the army on Tuesday.
