22-year-old sentenced to death in Pakistan for inappropriate remarks against Mohammad Sahib: 17-year-old sentenced to life in prison
- crops. Many countries including many live in the medieval mindset
- Actually these two youths have been framed. False allegations have been made against them: Youth's lawyer said
Chandigarh: A court in Pakistan's Punjab province has sentenced a 22-year-old man to death for making inappropriate comments against Prophet Muhammad Sahib. Whereas a 17-year-old youth has been sentenced to life imprisonment instead of death penalty regardless of his age.
In 2022, Pakistan's Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) filed this complaint in a Lahore court through its cyber crime allegation for inappropriate criticism of the youth and youth on cyber in 2022. It was alleged that the cybercrime agency had seized videos and photos of Mohammed Sahib making criticisms against him from 3 different mobile phones. Also phone numbers have been seized.
In this case, the lawyer of those youths said that those youths have been framed by making false allegations. In fact they did not make any criticism that could be called vulgar.
Giving this information, BBC said that the father of these youths has decided to appeal to the Lahore High Court.
Analysts of this incident say that it is morally inappropriate to criticize the leaders of any religion or even that religion. Punishment can also be made. But whether it is death penalty or life imprisonment, it is shocking. A punishment of five-seven years may be given at most, but death penalty or life imprisonment shows only and only the medieval man. It seems that even in the 21st century, several countries including Pakistan are living in the Middle Ages - especially the Upper Middle Ages. Pioneer-1 and Pioneer-2 are drifting on an infinite world journey. Even then they are living in the 7th century.
