UAE Mediation: Russia and Ukraine free each other's 478 soldiers held hostage

UAE has done what no country in the world could do.

Due to the mediation of the UAE, both Russia and Ukraine have released 478 prisoners of war. Both countries exchanged prisoners of war.

Ukrainian officials have said that 230 Ukrainian soldiers captured in the war between Russia and Ukraine and 248 soldiers from Russia have returned home.

The largest single release of prisoners of war since the start of hostilities between the two countries in February 2022 was made possible by the UAE's intervention. Thus, after the war between the two countries, the process of releasing the prisoners of war was going on in the initial phase, but for the last five months, the process of releasing the prisoners of war was stopped due to some reason.

However, now both the countries have again agreed to release the soldiers captured in the war. Ukrainian President Zelensky shared a video of the celebration of Ukrainian soldiers on social media and said that more than 200 of our soldiers and citizens have been freed from Russian captivity.

However, even after the exchange of soldiers, the war between the two countries continues. Yesterday, Russia fired 100 missiles at the city of Kiev and Kharkiv, on the other hand, Russia said that we have destroyed 12 missiles launched by Ukraine targeting Russia.
