According to media reports, he went to Ayodhya in December 1992 with 50 car sevaks. When Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh workers reached his house with Akshat after the construction of Ram Mandir, Habib recalled the old days and said that he was very active in the Ram Mandir movement as a BJP leader.

Had a dream of a grand Ram temple

Talking about this, Mohammad Habib said, 'I dreamed of building a grand Ram temple in Ayodhya, to complete which I went to Ayodhya on December 2, 1992. When I went to Ayodhya with 50 Karsevaks from Varanasi Cantt Railway Station, I was the district vice-president of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha.'

If I get a chance, I will visit Ram often

Ram devotee Mohammad Habib said with great emotion that whenever I get a chance, I will go to Ayodhya to see Lord Ram. I will visit Ayodhya not once, but often. It was a dream of all of us to build a Ram temple, which has been completed and we feel very good.'
