Ayodhya: Lord Ram's city Ayodhya has become Rammay. After the inauguration ceremony of Lord Ram's magnificent Ram temple started on Tuesday, the prana pratishtha program is going on in the temple along with various kinds of yajnas. On the other hand, lakhs of Ram devotees are reaching Ayodhya from all over the country. Some left their homes on foot, some on skates and some on bicycles to witness the historic day in Ayodhya on Monday. As no one will be allowed to enter the Ram Mandir premises on January 22, they will stay in the city and watch the Pran Pratishta program.
The eagerness of crores of Rama devotees to establish a grand temple in Ayodhya, the birthplace of Lord Rama, has come to an end. A magnificent temple of Lord Rama in child form is being prepared in Ayodhya. The main temple including the sanctum sanctorum is ready. While Ramlalla is to be honored by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday, January 22, the program for the inauguration of the Ram temple has started on Tuesday, January 16. Various types of yajnas and rituals are being performed in the Ram temple every day. On Friday, under the Pran Pratishta program of Ram temple, a fire was lit from Arani and established in Navkundo.
Lakhs of Ram devotees are reaching Ayodhya by walking, cycling and skating even in the bone-chilling cold while the puja ceremony is going on in the Ram temple. Millions of devotees have already reached Ayodhya as there is a ban on the entry of outsiders into Ayodhya on Monday, the day of Pran Pratistha. At present an atmosphere of faith and spirit is being created to welcome Ram Lalla across the country.
In such an environment, Shabnam Sheikh, spreading the message of Hindu-Muslim unity, has left Mumbai on foot. It will cover a distance of 1,400 km to reach Ayodhya. Muttan, dressed as Mahatma Gandhi, has walked from Karakitti in Tiralapura Karnataka. Muttan will reach Ayodhya by covering a distance of 2,000 km.
Nitish Kumar has reached Ayodhya by covering a distance of more than 600 km on a bicycle from Madhepura district of Bihar. He said that it took him seven days to reach Ayodhya. Ever since the Supreme Court gave its verdict in the Ramjanmabhoomi case, he had decided to go to Ayodhya on a bicycle. He wants to stay in Ayodhya on the historic day of Pran Pratistha on 22nd January. 47-year-old Omesh Bhagat is on a journey across India to spread the message of saving the environment, while he is reaching Ayodhya after traveling 13,000 km on a bicycle. Nitin Bhatia, a young Sikh resident of Batala in Punjab, is also reaching Ayodhya by cycling 1100 km.
Soni Chaurasia, who holds the Guinness Book Record for the longest dance marathon, skated from Varanasi to Ayodhya after covering 228 km. It left Varanasi on 17th January and will arrive on 22nd. Similarly, Himanshu Soni went skating from Kotputhali in Rajasthan on January 16. It will cover a distance of 704 km to reach Ayodhya.
