A major train accident was avoided in Rajasthan's Kota, two coaches derailed, passengers lost their lives.

On receiving the information, officials and employees of the nearest railway station reached the spot and started the rescue operation. However, the cause of the accident is yet to be ascertained.

Where did the incident happen?

The incident took place near Kota Junction railway station in Rajasthan. Two coaches of Jodhpur-Bhopal passenger train derailed. The sudden derailment of the train scared the passengers and they came out of the coach as soon as the train stopped. The loco pilot then reported the incident to the nearest station master. Then a team of employees from Kota Junction reached the spot for rescue work. No passenger is reported to have been injured in the accident.

The train was going from Jodhpur to Bhopal

Officials say that the passenger train was going to Bhopal from Jodhpur. After this accident, other trains passing through this line have been stopped. A video has also surfaced regarding the train accident, in which two coaches of the train are seen derailing. Besides, the crowd of passengers is also being seen.
