New Delhi: In the last 24 hours, 761 new cases of Corona have been registered in India, according to the statistics issued by the Union Health Ministry. On the other hand, the number of active cases of Corona has decreased to 4334 in the country. In the last 24 hours, 12 people have died due to Corona.

Kerala has the highest number of active cases at 1249. Then there are 1240 active cases in Karnataka, 914 in Maharashtra, 190 in Tamil Nadu, 128 in Chhattisgarh and 128 in Andhra Pradesh.

Among the 12 deaths due to corona in the last 24 hours, five have died in Kerala, four in Karnataka, two in Maharashtra and one in Uttar Pradesh.

According to official sources, the number of cases of new sub-variant JN-1 of Kovid-19 in the country has increased to 619. Out of which maximum 199 cases were reported in Karnataka, 148 cases in Kerala, 1120 cases in Maharashtra, 47 cases in Goa, 36 cases in Gujarat, 30 cases in Andhra Pradesh, 26 cases in Tamil Nadu, 15 in Delhi, four in Rajasthan, two in Telangana, one in Odisha and one in Haryana. is

However, an official of the Ministry of Health has said that the number of corona cases in the country is increasing, but there is no need to panic as corona patients are recovering by staying at home and undergoing treatment.
