Smita Srivastava, a resident of Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, is in the news for her long hair and her name is registered in the Guinness Book of World Records. Smita has not cut her hair for 32 years. He got this inspiration from his mother.

Smita Srivastava is now 46 years old. From the age of 14 until today, he has not allowed his hair to be cut with scissors. In the last 32 years, Smita grew her hair so long that her name was registered in the Guinness Book of Records. Fans lined up outside his house after his name was entered in the record books.

Smita Srivastava is a resident of Allapur, Prayagraj. She is married to businessman Sudesh Srivastava. The couple has two sons. Smita's elder son Atharva is pursuing B.Tech in Noida and younger son Shashwat studies in 7th standard at St. Joseph's College. Smita's parents are residents of Gyanpur (Bhadohi). She also has four sisters, who inspired her to have long hair. Smita was determined from an early age that she would make her hair as beautiful as her mother's.

Smita says whenever my hair falls I don't throw it away. I keep them safe in my house. Everyone stares at me because of my long hair. People are also seen taking selfies with hair.

Cause of long hair

Smita Srivastava spends more than two hours taking care of her hair. This is the reason why she can only wash her hair twice a week due to having very long hair. Washing hair takes more than half an hour.

Smita has been honored with many awards in Prayagraj due to her long hair. He has also been honored many times. Smitha's hair length is 236.22 cm (7 ft 9 in). Earlier in 2012, his name was registered in the Limca Book of Records.
