New Zealand: Khalistan fundamentalists plead guilty to stabbing anti-Khalistan radio host 40 times

Three Khalistan terrorists have been found guilty of plotting to kill an Indian-origin radio host in New Zealand.

These three persons conspired to kill radio host Harnak Singh in Auckland city. Harnek Singh was critical of the Khalistani ideology and because of this he caught the eye of the Khalistani fundamentalists.

The Khalistanis plotted to kill him. 27 year old Sarvjit Sidhu was the mastermind of this case. He has pleaded guilty to the charge of attempted murder. Another man, Sukhpreet Singh, 44, was convicted of helping to hatch the plot. Another man from Auckland was also involved. However, his name has not been revealed yet.

During the hearing of the matter, the court emphasized on the security of the Sikh community as well as taking a strong stand to curb religious extremism.

It may be mentioned that radio host Harnek Singh Neki was attacked on 23 December 2020. Khalistani fundamentalists ambushed him on the way and stabbed him 40 times. Hundreds of surgeries had to be done to save Neki's life. He got 350 stitches.
