An Indian student was beaten by cattle in America for a month

Washington: A 20-year-old student of Indian origin in America was held captive by three accused for the past seven months and treated inhumanely. This student was beaten continuously for seven months with a stick, electric wire, washing machine pipe. Three household chores were also done by him. The police have arrested three accused in this matter and are interrogating them.

A year ago, a 20-year-old student who had gone to study at the University of Missouri in the United States, was kept locked up in the basement by three accused for the past seven months. He used to make the student do three homeworks and hit him with a stick, electric wire, rod, washing machine pipe. Police responded to a tip-off at a home on the highway in St. Charles County and rescued the student. Three accused including the student's cousin have been arrested in this matter. Police did not release the victim's name. The accused have been identified as Venkatesh Sataru, Shravan Verma and Nikhil Verma. The police have investigated the trio on charges of human trafficking, kidnapping and assault. In this incident, the main suspect of the police is on the student's cousin Venkatesh. Venkatesh kept her at home and apart from housework, she also did the IT company's work from home for hours.

The police did not know the reason behind the thrashing of the 20-year-old student. It will be known after questioning the accused.
