Moscow, dated December 2, 2023

It has been 22 months since the war started after Russia attacked Ukraine but the war does not seem to end.

Now Russian President Putin is running out of patience. Putin now wants to send 2.2 million soldiers of the Russian army into the war. For this, 1.70 lakh additional soldiers have been ordered to be inducted into the Russian army.

The Russian army already had 13.20 lakh soldiers. In August 2022, after Putin ordered the recruitment of additional troops, the strength of the Russian army reached 2 million. Now Russia wants to induct another 1.7 million people into the army.

The Ministry of Defense of Russia has said that all those who want to join the army will be recruited. The ongoing conflict in Ukraine is a special military operation and joint military forces of NATO countries are being deployed near the Russian border with weapons and additional air defense systems. Seeing NATO's move, Russia has decided to increase its defense capabilities.
