India's urban population will reach 25 million by 202: UN report

The United Nations Urban Population Report was released. According to the report, India's urban population will increase significantly by 202. Then in the next 10 years, it will rise sharply and by 202, 25 million people in India will be living in cities.
By 205, Asia will have the largest population of 400 million people living in cities. Of these, 100 million live in cities in South Asia alone. According to the report, just as urbanization became an important factor in the 19th and 20th centuries, so too will urbanization be a major factor in the 21st century. Urbanization will continue to increase in the 21st century. In addition, there will be a significant increase in the birth rate of urban population. Due to both, the population of cities will increase. By 2020, 400 million people will be added to the world's urban population. By 2020, the global population will reach 8% of the urban population.
