CM Shinde reversed the decision of the Uddhav government, taking action at the first meeting

Mumbai, July 1, 2022, Friday

Eknath Shinde, who returned from Guwahati with Shiv Sena rebel MLAs, has become the Chief Minister of Maharashtra. While Devendra Fadnavis, who has been the Chief Minister of BJP for years, has to be satisfied as the Deputy Chief Minister. With the support of BJP and joining the government, Eknath Shinde has been able to make his dream of becoming the Chief Minister come true.

In the first meeting of the state cabinet held just hours after taking office, Uddhav Thackeray's Maha Vikas Adhadi government reversed its decision to relocate the proposed car shed in Mumbai Metro Line-3R Colony. The proposal to build a car shed was opposed by environmental organizations in the area, which is surrounded by trees and groves. The Maha Vikas Aghadi government then shifted the car shed to Kanjar Marg.

According to the information received, Devendra Fadnavis had proposed to build the Metro-3 line car shed at Aarey Colony instead of Kanjurmarg. However, it is a coincidence that Uddhav Thackeray, with the support of the Congress and Sharad Pawar's NCP party, announced a moratorium on the proposal for a Metroline-3 car shed in Aarey Colony after he became the Chief Minister of Maha Vikas Aghadi in 2019. After the resignation of Uddhav Thackeray, Eknath Shinde has identified his MLAs as the real Shiv Sena and has been sworn in as the 20th Chief Minister of Maharashtra.
