Numerous people protested and accused YouTuber of inciting religious sentiment. Following the controversy, YouTube deleted the video and apologized.
Kashmir police arrested YouTuber Faisal Wani in the incident. The police official said the action was taken for breach of public order and religious incitement. The video was allegedly used to intimidate the public and incite people to take violent action.
Faisal Wani was strongly opposed after the video went viral. Faisal then made a new video appealing to people to respect all religions and said there was no intention to spread violence through the video. He said in a new video that he had no intention of breaking the law.
