Posters of 'I support Nupur Sharma' were found in Gopalganj, Bihar, police alert

The Muslim community across the country is protesting against the controversial statement of former Bharatiya Janata Party leader Nupur Sharma, with posters in support of Nupur Sharma in Gopalganj, Bihar. Overnight, posters of 'I support Nupur Sharma' in support of Nupur Sharma have been put up in educational institutions, parks, temples and at the crossroads of Gopalganj city. Police and a private agency were alerted after seeing the poster. On the other hand, these posters are also going viral on social media.

Posts in support and opposition to Nupur Sharma are also being shared on social media. The IT cell of Gopalganj police is compiling a list of provocative posters on social sites. Police are monitoring all the social sites. About 70 people have been on police radar so far, according to sources. Now posters of Eye Support Nupur Sharma were seen on the four roads of Gopalganj. According to media reports, the posters were put up by Hindutva organizations in Bihar.

There has been outrage in the Muslim community since the remarks were made against the Prophet Mohammad. Protests have been going on in the country and abroad since Nupur Sharma's insulting remarks. The Muslim community has demanded action against former BJP national spokesperson Nupur Sharma.

Former BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma had made a statement against the Prophet during a TV debate. Which is being opposed by the Muslim community.

The Muslim community protested the remark in some parts of India, which later turned violent. However, Nupur Sharma had apologized for her statement and was expelled from the BJP. However, some anti-social elements are working to spoil the atmosphere. The issue has sparked violence in some parts of India.
