Pakistani MP Aamir Liaquat dies

Pakistani MP Aamir Liaquat has died in Karachi. He was found dead in his apartment in Karachi. It is suspected that he died of cardiac arrest. Aamir Liaquat recently came up for discussion with his second wife about divorce and third marriage.

Aamir Liaquat was only 49 years old. He was born in 1972 in Karachi. Aamir Liaquat had three marriages. He married his second wife Tauba Anwar in 2018. After his divorce, he married Dania Shah in the year 2022.


His health reportedly deteriorated on Wednesday night but he refused to go to the hospital. After this when he cried out in pain his servant reached but the door was closed. He was lying unconscious in the room when he saw the door smashed. He was rushed to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

Aamir Liaquat joined Imran Khan's party PTI in March 2018. He was later elected MP from Karachi. However, he later resigned from the party.


Prior to joining PTI, he was a senior leader of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM). But they split from the party in August 2016. At the time, he had announced that he was leaving politics. However, he joined Imran Khan's party in 2018 and was also elected as an MP from Karachi.

Liaquat has long been associated with the media industry. He joined Geo TV in 2001. Ball News was also spotted later. Liaquat was last seen at the Ball House program.
