Mamata's letter to 5 leaders to unite the opposition, called a meeting on the 18th

Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee is all set to sway the BJP in the presidential election after the Rajya Sabha polls saw the BJP-led opposition split against the NDA. The Trinamool Congress has said that with the presidential election looming, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has taken the initiative to unite the opposition. The Trinamool Congress chief has convened a joint meeting in Delhi on June 15. Mamata has called on the opposition to unite against divisive forces in the country and to strengthen democracy. He has written a letter inviting a total of eight leaders, including the chief ministers and leaders of the opposition, to attend the meeting. He has also written to Congress President Sonia Gandhi to attend the meeting.
