Imran's open challenge to Shahbaz Sharif: He said: 'Show victory in elections'

- Political upheaval in Pakistan does not end: Imran likely to be arrested

New Delhi: The political turmoil in Pakistan is not over. Former Prime Minister Imran Khan has openly challenged Shahbaz Sharif, saying that the coalition under his leadership should win the next elections. In fact, it is almost impossible for you to overcome it.

The former prime minister did not seem to be able to digest the defeat after being ousted from power. He has never opened a front against Shahbaz Sharif. Adding this new arrow to it has challenged Sharif to win a new election.

Pakistan's Geo News Agency quoted Imran Khan as saying, "The government of the ruling coalition led by Sharif is prosecuting our Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) activists." The report goes on to say that it will be difficult for the current government to campaign. While the PTI is campaigning vigorously, Imran Khan said that an FIR was also being lodged against those who joined the independence march organized by his party workers on May 9. He also clarified that he did not forget that it was all fake FIR.

According to Pakistan's The Dawn newspaper, Imran Khan has been charged with more than two dozen cases of inciting riots, treason and spreading chaos in the country. The 'Independence March' from Lahore to Islamabad, which was held by Imran last month, was followed by marches in Rawalpindi, Lahore and Karachi. There was also a huge clash between the protesters and the police.

On top of all this, experts say that Imran Khan could be arrested at any time. Pakistan's interior minister had said that he had been granted a three-week transit bail on June 3, which expires on June 9, so he could be arrested anytime after June 5.
