Google accused of racism, senior official resigns, find out what's the whole matter

New York, Monday, June 6, 2022

Allegations of racial and ethnic discrimination within the US-based Google company have caused a sensation. Human rights activists have lashed out at Google over a report in the Washington Post that a senior official had resigned. International organizations have written an open letter to Sundar Pichai, the Indian-origin CEO of an American tech company.

According to a report published in the Washington Post last week, Dalit activist and founder of an organization called Equity Labs, Thanmoji Sundararajan's program at Google was canceled due to protests by employees. Thenmoji Sundar Rajan is a well known activist for Dalit rights. He has lived in America for a very long time. During the Dalit History Month last April, Sundarraj called on Google News staff to raise awareness about Dalit rights and the exploitation that accompanies them.

According to the Washington Post, Google employees have emailed high-ranking officials of the company to make Sundar Rajan anti-Hindu and hate Hindus. In this regard, Sundar Raj had appealed to Google CEO Sundar Pichai to allow the event to take place. Some employees of the appeal concluded that Google knowingly ignores racial discrimination.

Tanuja Gupta, a senior Google News official who invited Sundarrajan, resigned. Tanuja's seven-page resignation letter deliberately ignores gender-based exploitation, double standards on diversity and equality policy, avoids accountability by using privacy as a weapon, and takes action against those who speak out. Etc. details are given.

According to a source, Texas-born Tanuja Gupta has revealed in the wake of her resignation that Google had canceled Sundararajan's program and neglected Dalit rights. The voice of the real victim Thenmoji Sundararajan has been suppressed. These are the people who face racial discrimination every day. Google's employees' union has also backed Tanuja Gupta. In a tweet, Alphabet Works Union said that racial discrimination is a reality in the world and Google should establish gender equality there.
