New Delhi: Two robots will now be involved in extinguishing fires at the Delhi Fire Service. Apart from that, if firefighters catch fire in times of emergency, these robots will also help save their lives. Based on artificial intelligence, these robots are able to reach even dangerous places like oil tanks.

According to the Delhi Fire Service, the state government of Delhi has allotted two special robots to the fire unit. These robots will now play an important role in extinguishing serious fires as frequent fire incidents occur in Delhi. These remote-controlled robots are capable of extinguishing fires in any awkward situation. It can even go into an oil tanker or a chemical tank and put out a fire. Until now, firefighters had to be sent to a dangerous place, but now the risk will be reduced. The robot can be sent to such places. This robot will be able to cover an area of ​​100 meters around them.

According to Atul Garg, Director, Delhi Fire Service, the firefighter robot will also play a key role in saving the lives of firefighters in critical condition. Because this robot can be sent in a very small space. A blazing fire will make way for firefighters. Robots can be sent to all locations, from basements, forests, warehouses, alleys, etc. According to the director of the Delhi Fire Service, the two robots are currently involved in a pilot project. After studying their working methods, steps will be taken to involve more robots in the fire service.
