Communal tensions over killing of one person in Udaipur, ban on internet service


Udaipur: A case of murder of a tailor in broad daylight in Udaipur, a popular tourist destination in Rajasthan, is witnessing communal tensions. Appealing to the people for peace in the incident, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has ordered more police presence in the city.

The city has announced a ban on internet services as video of the tailor's murder is being widely circulated on social media and WhatsApp. Businesses and businesses have been shut down in some areas of the city due to the tense situation.

A tailor named Kanaiyalal was killed today after a heated debate between Hindus and Muslims on social media over each other's religions. Police also questioned the deceased in the case of this heated discussion going on on social media. Police said in a tense atmosphere after the murder that the people involved in the incident have been identified, their search is on and they will be arrested soon.

Police said the killing appeared to be a premeditated conspiracy as Kanaya Lal himself said he was receiving threats from individuals of a particular organization. Sources said the tailor was receiving threats from the Muslim community after Kanaya made a video supporting Nupur Sharma's controversial statement and went viral.

According to police sources, Rias and another person entered Kanaya's shop today. Riaz then attacked the tailor with a sharp weapon while another recorded a video of the incident on his mobile phone. The two went viral on social media soon after the incident.
