500 plots in Ponzi linked scheme, flats in three states confiscated


New Delhi: The ED has seized more than 200 plots and several flats in money laundering schemes in Andhra Pradesh , Telangana and Karnataka. The promoters of this Ponzi scheme have snatched crores of rupees from investors.

According to the ED, an order has been issued to seize the assets. The total assets are worth Rs 110 crore and are in the name of Maithri Plantation and Horticulture Pvt. Ltd. The company is owned by Shree Nakshatra Builders and Developers Pvt. Ltd. (SNBDIPL) , Maithri Realtors India Pvt .

Out of total 210 assets, 14 properties are in Andhra Pradesh , 13 in Telangana and one in Karnataka. This property includes open land ,plots and flats. The Ponzi scheme was run illegally by the company and it obtained funds from the general public without obtaining a license as an NBFC. He received millions of rupees in deposits from innocent investors. He lured investors with false promises of higher returns and offered huge returns after the investment in the plot had expired.
