Out of 650 lockers, Rs 6 crore cash, jewelery including gold bricks are also not coming up against any claimant.

Former IPS officer Ram Narayan Singh's locks in Noida seem to be running out of treasure.

The Income Tax Department has been conducting raids here for the last few days. Crores of cash as well as diamonds and gold jewelery have been found from the lockers of this officer. Gold bricks and biscuits have also been found from the lockers.

Surprisingly, no claimants for jewelery and cash have come forward so far. Gold bricks are worth Rs 45 lakh. The rest of the jewelery is said to be worth Rs 2.5 crore.

Earlier, cash worth Rs 6 crore was also recovered from the lockers. However, the identity of the owner is yet to be ascertained.

650 lockers have been found in the house of a former IPS officer and these lockers are being used by rich people to hide their anonymous assets. For the last five years, officers have been renting lockers in the basement of the house.

Officer Ram Narayan Singh says that this is our inherited business.
