Attempted fatal attack on Yogi Minister Siddharth Nath Singh, man caught with poison and blade

Attempted fatal attack on Cabinet Minister Siddharth Nath Singh in UP. The assailant was carrying poison and a blade. The accused, who had come to carry out the attack, was apprehended by activists and security personnel.

The attack took place while Siddharth Nath Singh was on his way to register his candidature. In the Uttar Pradesh elections, Minister Siddharth Nath Singh has been fielded from Allahabad West.

Siddharth Nath Singh is the grandson of former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri. He has traveled from worker in the organization to cabinet minister in Uttar Pradesh.

Uttar Pradesh has a total of 403 seats and a total of 7 phases of polling are to be held. Voting will take place on February 10, February 14, February 20, February 23, February 27, March 3 and March 7. On March 10, the results will come with the rest of the states - Punjab, Manipur, Uttarakhand and Goa.
