Third wave of corona begins in all states: 1.5 lakh new cases of corona

With the rise of Corona cases in the country, a third wave has started in all the states and the rapid spread of Omicron variants has led to an extraordinary surge in daily cases, according to the latest data. While corona cases have been on the rise in the western part of the country for several days due to Omicron, cases have been on the rise in the northeastern states including West Bengal, Chhattisgarh and Odisha due to delta variants. However, according to the latest data, the number of Omicron cases is also increasing in the eastern states.
Amidst the threat of Omicron in the country, cases of Corona infection are on the rise once again. More than 1.5 lakh cases of corona have been reported in the last four hours in the country. The number of active cases of corona in the country has also crossed five lakh. In the last few days, the daily corona cases in the country have risen by more than 3%.
The blast in Maharashtra's daily corona case has remained unchanged for the fourth day in a row. With this, Maharashtra has once again reached the top spot in terms of Koro transition. In the last three hours, 21.5 new cases of corona were reported in Maharashtra. Meanwhile, 12 people were killed. The number of patients of the new Omicron variant of Corona is also increasing rapidly in Maharashtra. In the last 3 hours, 18 Omicron patients have been registered in Maharashtra. With this, the total number of Omicron cases has become 1008. Mumbai, on the other hand, has once again witnessed a corona eruption and for the second day in a row on Saturday, more than 20,000 new cases of corona have come to light and five patients have died.
Following the rising number of corona cases in Maharashtra, the state government has banned gatherings of more than five people across the state from 9 am to 11 pm. In addition, night curfew has been imposed across the state. The gym and beauty salon are completely banned. The government has asked private offices to operate at 90 per cent capacity. Similarly, restaurants, shopping malls and auditoriums have been asked to operate at 90 per cent capacity. The government has closed amusement parks, zoos, museums, and all tourist attractions. Night curfew has already been imposed in the state.
In Delhi too, 20,121 new cases of corona have been reported in 4 hours and 4 people have died. In one day, the number of corona cases in Delhi increased by 3,000. In Delhi, the number of active corona patients has reached 4,13. In the election state of Uttar Pradesh too, the number of active cases of corona has crossed 2,000 in 4 hours. The total number of active cases of Corona has come down to 12,31 since the new cases came to light.
Corona cases have skyrocketed in Bengal. Here in 4 hours, 12,308 new cases of corona have come up. In Kolkata alone, 4.5 cases of corona have been reported. The corona's positivity rate in the state has gone up to 7.50%. As many as 11,000 cases of corona infection have been reported in Tamil Nadu. In Chennai, 2,08 cases have been reported and in Chengalpattu, 18 cases have been reported.
