Special arrangements for voting of coroners, old people, cripples

New Delhi, Dt
The Election Commission has announced assembly election programs in five states. The third wave of Corona epidemic has started in the country. The Election Commission has made special arrangements to ensure that coronary patients, the elderly and the disabled do not have to go to the polling booths.
Chief Election Commissioner Sushil Chandra said that senior citizens above the age of 60, persons with disabilities and those with a positive corona will be able to cast their votes by postal ballot. The Election Commission will try to ensure that people in this category do not miss voting because of Corona. Koro's patients also had to come to the polls to cast their ballots in last year's assembly elections. They arrived wearing PPE kits to cast their votes. Along with Corona's patients, other people also faced great inconvenience. There were also thousands of people who could not exercise their voting right. But now with the postal ballot voting facility the situation will change a lot.
