Intensive studies will be done on mental changes in children during the Corona period


The closure of schools has not only affected education but also increased fear and anxiety.

New Delhi: Due to the Koro epidemic, children have been left out of schools for a long time, creating a state of mental stress and fear. After studying it, the Delhi government has started a comprehensive survey and its study to remove fear and mental stress from children.

Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Friday issued instructions to the concerned officials in this regard. He said that the closure of schools due to the Koro epidemic had not only affected the education of the children but they were also experiencing mental stress and fear which had to be overcome so the Delhi government was conducting a comprehensive study on it.

Based on this survey, the Delhi government has also decided to update the much talked about Happiness Curriculum with the help of experts. So that the focus can be on the mental emotional wellbeing of children studying in schools.

Sisodia further said that the last two years have been very difficult due to the Corona epidemic and the period has been very stressful for school going children. Due to the closure of schools, the world was becoming their home for the children. Therefore, it is imperative to bring mental change in the children, said the Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi.
