Corona's super speed .. 2.5 lakh new cases in 24 hours, Omicron's case also crossed 5,000

The spread of Corona in the country has been steadily increasing. In the last 24 hours, 2 lakh 47 thousand 417 new cases of corona have come up in the country. The number of active cases of Corona in the country has increased to 11 lakh 17 thousand 531 after new cases came to light. Corona has a daily positivity rate of 13.11 and a weekly positivity rate of 10.80%.

A total of 69.73 crore tests have been conducted in the country so far. Corona's recovery rate in the country is 95.59 percent. 154.61 crore doses of vaccine have been given so far under the nationwide vaccination campaign. According to a report by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the number of Omicron infections in India has crossed 5,000.

So far, 5,488 cases of new variant of Corona Omicron have been reported in the country. Maharashtra tops the list with 1,281 cases and Rajasthan with 645 cases.

According to the health ministry, Corona's positivity rate rose from 1.1 per cent on December 30 to 11.05 per cent on January 12. The continuous increase in corona cases in Maharashtra, West Bengal, Delhi, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, UP, Kerala, Gujarat is a matter of concern.
