The Omicron variant of the corona virus has spread to more than six countries

The Omicron variant of the corona virus has entered at least eight countries, according to World Health Organization (WHO) President Tedros Adhanom Ghebrais. Not only that, the Omicron variant is likely to spread further in the country. The Omicron variant of the Corona found in South Africa has recently attracted attention. Some experts consider the Omicron to be even more deadly than the Delta variant. Many countries have suspended or restricted air traffic with South Africa. The World Health Organization has warned of a new variant spreading around the world.


According to the National Institute for Communication Diseases of South Africa, this seems to be a special variant in terms of transmission. Not enough information has come out yet about Omicron but the risk will increase if the effect of the vaccine on it remains weak. Lug Agarwal, joint secretary in the Union Ministry of Health, confirmed that both cases of Omicron had been registered in Karnataka in the last four hours. One of the two patients infected with Omicron is 6 years old while the other is 6 years old. The first person infected with Omicron was noticed in South Africa.
