Ripe. 57 Muslim countries were called to the meeting, only 20 came

India's strategy worked, tweak Pak

India also convened a meeting of five Muslim countries on the same day and taught Pakistan a lesson

Islamabad: Pakistan convened a meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. Leaders of 57 Muslim countries were invited to the meeting. However, only 20 of them were leaders. So Pakistan was put to shame. Some countries had sent their ambassadors to the meeting.

On the same day that Pakistan convened the meeting, India also convened a five-nation meeting on Afghanistan. The meeting includes Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan. The foreign ministers of these countries were present at the meeting.

The five countries that India has invited have borders with Afghanistan. Meetings between the two countries were held on Sunday, though foreign policy experts said that India's policy had hit Pakistan hard and only 20 out of 50 delegates were present.

Pakistan's image in Islamic countries has also deteriorated, as evidenced by the absence of 30 Islamic countries in the meeting. The leaders of five of the 57 countries chose to come to Delhi instead of going to Pakistan and by attending the Indian meeting, in a way, these countries also gave their answer to Pakistan that it is with India in the matter of Afghanistan and not with Pakistan.
