North and West India will get killer cold for the next five days





The deadly cold wave in northern India remained unchanged. In several states like Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, the temperature dropped to freezing. It disrupted public life. Snowfall is forecast in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
Temperatures in most parts of Jammu and Kashmir reached minus. The minimum temperature in Srinagar was minus 3.2, in Gulmarg minus 6.2, in Pahalgaon minus 7.5, in Kupwaha minus 6.2 and in Konkan Nag minus 6.5. It caused a wave of deadly cold in Kashmir again. Public life was disrupted as cold winds began to blow.
Cold winds were blowing all over North India. Colds were observed in states like Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Bihar and Jharkhand. Cold wires had a profound effect on public life. Cold winds had been blowing in the capital Delhi since early morning. In addition, there was no improvement in air quality.
Odisha and West Bengal were cold. The minimum temperature was recorded at 3 to 4 degrees in most of the cities. Temperatures are unlikely to rise for the next four to five days, the meteorological department said in a bulletin.
The temperature in Churru in Rajasthan had reached zero. The temperature in Fatehpur dropped to 1.5 degrees. The temperature at Pilani, Jaisalmer, Ganganagar was recorded at five to six degrees. The state Meteorological Department warned of coldwaves in several areas.
Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Saurashtra-Kutch, northern Rajasthan and western Uttar Pradesh will experience freezing temperatures from December 15 to 31, the meteorological department said in an update. These days the temperature will drop to an average of five degrees Celsius in many states.
