Modi inaugurates Rs 18,000 crore project for Uttarakhand


Dehradun: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday unveiled a Rs 18,000 crore project for Uttarakhand, which is on the verge of elections. He started the BJP's campaign for the Assembly elections by addressing the people present at the inauguration.

The Prime Minister laid the foundation stone of the Rs 15,728 crore project and inaugurated seven projects worth Rs 2,573 crore after testing the models at the rally site. Addressing the crowd on the occasion, he said that some parties see votebank in every action, so they ran the government with the motto of hoti hai chalti hai. His motto was that people should never be strong, but we have focused on empowering the people, and our government has focused on development in pursuit of this goal.

Earlier, the UPA government had built 288 km of roads in Uttarakhand in ten years. Our government has built 2,000 km of roads in seven years.

Due to the Delhi-Dehradun Expressway economic corridor, the distance between the two cities has been reduced from 248 kms to 180 kms. Will be done. The distance from Delhi to Dehradun, which takes six hours today, will be completed in just two and a half hours after this corridor is built.

Apart from this, one of the Chardham's Dham is Badrinath's infrastructure development project. Char Dham is the most important part of the scheme. The Prime Minister inaugurated important projects including 120 MW Vyasi-Hydro Electricity Project, 38 km stretch of National Highway-6 between Devprayag and Shirkot, widening of 33 km road between Brahmapuri and Kaudilya on Rishikesh-Badrinath Highway. The Prime Minister claimed that the project would change the face of Uttarakhand.
