In another high school shootout in the US, a student shot three people in Michigan


Oxford Township (US) - High school shootouts in the US are not named. 48 km from Detroit. A shootout with a 15-year-old student at a Michigan high school in a remote 22,000 community has killed at least three people and injured eight others. Some of them are in critical condition. A 14-year-old girl has been placed on a ventilator after the operation.

One of the dead was a teenager who was being taken to hospital in a police deputy's van. Investigators are still trying to determine the motive behind the killings.

Police arrived on the scene shortly after receiving more than 100 phone calls about the 911 shooter. Police arrested the student within half a minute of his arrival. As soon as the police deputy approached him, he shook hands. The boy's father bought the gun on Friday. Auckland County Chief Michael Bouchard said he did not know what work his father bought the gun for. Authorities have not yet released the child's identity

The three students killed were 16-year-old Tate Meyer, 14-year-old Hannah and 18-year-old Madison Baldwin. Bouchard said Mayer died in the police deputy's patrol car as he was being taken for emergency treatment. One teacher suffered a shoulder injury and was discharged from the hospital. Also seven students aged 14 to 17 are hospitalized. The student had seven more rounds left in his gun when he surrendered. The child has been advised by his parents not to talk to investigators. If the police want to talk to a child, they have to get the permission of their parents or guardians.
