A new history was created when the new US President Joe Biden addressed a joint session of Parliament after being sworn in. The Speaker and the Vice-President are behind him when it comes to the US President's joint session. For the first time in American history, a Bubbe woman was in that position during the president's address. Before Kamala Harris became vice president, Speaker Nancy Pelosi was the highest-ranking woman in American history. Nancy is the first woman to reach the post of speaker and Kamala Harris is the first woman to reach the post of vice-president.
